These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the use of the digital infrastructure provided by VerifiedClimate™ Limited (the “Company,” “VerifiedClimate™,” “we,” or “us”), including the website accessible at https://www.verifiedclimate.com and all associated services, products, software, and integrations (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you (the “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in full, do not access or use the Services.

1. Purpose and Scope

VerifiedClimate™ operates a digital evidentiary infrastructure, powered by RegistryRail™ — the Evidentiary Rail — that enables the creation of tamper-evident custody and deterministically issued, time-anchored timestamps for climate-related declarations (each, a “RegistryRail™  Record”). Records are issued automatically following a structured delay window to ensure system integrity. VerifiedClimate™ provides the climate-sector instance of the emerging Evidentiary Infrastructure category, with RegistryRail™ serving as the underlying Evidentiary Rail for timestamped, tamper-evident Records.

VerifiedClimate™ is a neutral infrastructure layer for institutional-grade digital fingerprinting, timestamping, audit readiness, and compliance support. The system operates a strict neutrality boundary among all actors, providing tamper-evident permanence and formatting without certification, regulatory functions, or opinion.

While VerifiedClimate™ is the climate-sector application, RegistryRail™ — as the multi-domain Evidentiary Rail — supports evidentiary record issuance across additional sectors.

2. Eligibility and Access

To access or use the Services, you must:

• Be legally competent to enter into a binding agreement;
  

• Use the Services only for lawful purposes;
  

• Not attempt to access or interfere with the underlying system logic, infrastructure, or automated processes.
  

3. RegistryRail™  Records and Submission Terms

Users may submit climate-related documentation, declarations, summaries, and supporting files to create RegistryRail™ Records. Submissions must:

• Be truthful and non-fraudulent;
  

• Not contain malicious software or unlawful material;
  

• Be formatted according to the submission interface requirements.
  

By submitting materials, the User acknowledges that:

• RegistryRail™  Records are issued based solely on submitted data and supporting files;
  

• RegistryRail™  Records may be displayed in part (e.g., organization name, location, submission purpose) on VerifiedClimate™’s publicly visible pages or feeds, without including personal contact details or supporting documents (display of organization-level identifiers depends on the User’s submission choices).
  
  RegistryRail™ functions solely as an Evidentiary Rail; all judgment, validation, and interpretation of submitted materials remain with independent third parties.
  

4. Visibility of Supporting Materials

Supporting documents are not publicly discoverable or browsable on the Services. However, they are accessible to any party in possession of the relevant share links issued by the system, including the Public Record Link (live URL) and the Reviewer Copy of Record. VerifiedClimate™ does not authenticate or vet recipients of such links and is not responsible for onward distribution by Users or third parties.

5. Intellectual Property and Domain Holdings

All content, logic, system design, interface elements, databases, trademarks, and presentation layers forming part of the Services are the exclusive intellectual property of VerifiedClimate Limited.

This includes, but is not limited to, the following portfolio of domains controlled and operated by VerifiedClimate™: verifiedemissions.org, verifiedgrid.com, verifiedhydrogenenergy.com, verifiedindustry.com, verifiedmethane.com, verifiednetzero.com, verifiedoffsetcredits.com, verifiedplanet.com, verifiedscope3.com, verifiedsolarenergy.com, verifiedclimate.net, verifiedclimate.org, verifiedco2.com, verifiedco2credits.com, theverifiedclimate.com, veremissions.com, veresg.com, verifiedbiofuels.com, verifiedcarbonremoval.com, verifiedclimate.com, verifiedspaceenergy.com, verifiedwindenergy.com, evidencerail.com, evidentiaryrail.com, evidentiaryinfrastructure.com.
These domains represent some, but not all, components of the Evidentiary Rail portfolio underpinning VerifiedClimate™’s evidentiary infrastructure architecture.

These domains serve to reinforce infrastructure breadth and institutional-grade credibility. No license or right is granted to use any domain, mark, or asset without prior written consent.
The RegistryRail™ architecture and its classification as an Evidentiary Rail, form part of the Company’s proprietary evidentiary infrastructure framework.

6. Company Information

VerifiedClimate™ is operated by: VerifiedClimate Limited. Company Registration Number: 788557. Registered Office: Corporate Financial Solutions. Middle Third Terrace, Block 6, Killester, Dublin. D05 WC86. Ireland.

The Company operates under Irish law and is subject to the applicable provisions of the Companies Act 2014 (Ireland) and relevant data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

7. Data and Storage Responsibilities

All data submitted to the Services is stored securely in accordance with best practices. While VerifiedClimate™ employs high-grade data integrity measures, the User retains full responsibility for ensuring that submitted files do not violate applicable law or third-party rights. Full information about data storage and security is set out in the Privacy Policy.

8. Automation and Infrastructure Scope

VerifiedClimate™ is a fully automated digital platform, operating on the RegistryRail™ infrastructure.
The system:

• Does not provide subjective verification services;
  

• Does not mediate or arbitrate between claimants and recipients.
  

System behavior is governed by pre-coded workflows and timestamping algorithms that operate independently and neutrally.
All issuance functions operate through RegistryRail™ as the underlying Evidentiary Rail, providing neutral evidentiary custody without discretionary intervention. .

9. Payment and Pricing

Use of the Services may require payment.
The standard pricing for issuance of a RegistryRail™ Record is posted on the Services or communicated during submission.During the open-access phase, the first issued record may be priced at a symbolic €1, with subsequent records at the standard posted rate (€100).
All fees are non-refundable once a record has entered the processing queue.
A record enters the processing queue immediately upon payment authorisation and is deemed issued once a timestamp is assigned.

VerifiedClimate™ reserves the right to modify pricing at any time for future submissions without prior notice.

10. Record Revisions and Resubmissions

Once a RegistryRail™ Record has been issued, it is immutable. If a User wishes to update or revise a prior submission, a new RegistryRail™  Record must be created through the standard submission process.

All issuance occurs via RegistryRail™, the Evidentiary Rail that provides the neutral, tamper-evident evidentiary backbone.

11. Public Display and Activity Feed

VerifiedClimate™ may, for the purposes of promoting system trust and transparency, publicly display non-personal summary data from RegistryRail™ Records in its website ticker or archive. This may include elements such as the submitting organization’s name, country or region, sector, and the declared purpose of submission. Supporting documents and personally identifiable information are never included in this public feed. Supporting files remain accessible only through explicit share links under the User’s control.

Access to supporting documents is available only through the share mechanisms described in Clause 12 (the Public Record Link and the Reviewer Copy of Record).

Service Availability Disclaimer: no guarantee of uninterrupted access; maintenance permitted. Force Majeure: suspension of obligations in case of events beyond reasonable control.
Termination for Cause: VerifiedClimate may suspend or terminate access for breach or legal requirement.

12. Embedding, Linking, and Reviewer Copy Access

VerifiedClimate™ provides shareable links to RegistryRail™ Records (the Public Record Link) and a downloadable Reviewer Copy of Record.
Users may embed or reference these on third-party websites, dashboards, or disclosures.
Both the Public Record Link and the Reviewer Copy of Record include the Record summary, cryptographic details, and the exact supporting documents that the User uploads with that submission.
Records cannot be altered after issuance; therefore, if the User requires redactions, they must upload redacted files as part of the submission or create a new Record containing redacted versions.

Access is link-based (“bearer”) and is available to any party in possession of the URL(s). VerifiedClimate™ does not authenticate recipients, control their onward distribution, or assume responsibility for how links or documents are subsequently shared or stored. At present, the Reviewer Copy displays all submitted files; Users who require restricted sharing must upload redacted files or submit a separate Record designed for that purpose. There is no in-product setting to exclude supporting documents from the Reviewer Copy or the Public Record Link.

Users who require restricted sharing (e.g., redactions) must supply redacted files and/or create a separate Record designed for that purpose. VerifiedClimate™ may restrict or disable access to specific materials or links where required for security, legal, or policy reasons.
These link-based access mechanisms form part of the Evidentiary Rail’s custody and timestamping function and do not constitute authentication or verification of recipients.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VerifiedClimate™ shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data, revenue, or goodwill;
  

• Any indirect or consequential damages;
  

• Errors resulting from user submission content.
  

In any event, VerifiedClimate™’s aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the User in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Each party shall indemnify the other against losses arising from its own breach of law or these Terms.
No guarantee is made regarding external recognition, third-party acceptance, or enforceability of a RegistryRail™  Record in any jurisdiction or process.

14. System Integrity and Abuse Protection

Users may not:

• Interfere with infrastructure functionality;
  

• Attempt to reverse-engineer or clone the service;
  

• Exploit any vulnerabilities or resubmit misleading data.
  

Violations will result in permanent suspension of access and possible legal action.

15. Amendments to These Terms

VerifiedClimate™ reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted to the website and become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved in the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
